Marc Cavosie Loaned To Albany

Reading, PA - The Reading Royals of the ECHL, affiliate of the Toronto Maple Leafs and Boston Bruins of the National Hockey League and the Toronto Marlies of the American Hockey League, today announced that forward Marc Cavosie ["kah VOE see"] has been loaned to the Albany River Rats of the AHL. Cavosie, an eighth year pro who hails from Albany, played 16 regular season games and 7 playoff games with the River Rats in the 2007-08 season after being loaned from Reading. He also started the 2008-09 season in Albany, playing eleven games with the River Rats before being released and picked up by the Binghamton Senators. This season, Cavosie was loaned by the Royals to the Lake Erie Monsters prior to the start of the ECHL season and played sixteen games with the Monsters, registering two assists and six penalty minutes. Cavosie was returned to Reading on November 29, 2009, and has played fifteen games with the Royals, during which he has picked up twelve points (4g-8a).

The Royals return to the ice on Saturday (January 9, 2010 @ 7:05) when the Cincinnati Cyclones visit the Sovereign Center for the only time during the 2009-10 regular season. The Royals game night broadcast on the Royals Radio Network presented by Transmissions by Arbogast will kick off with the pre-game warm-up show at 6:35 pm.
