
Condors Return Home After Three Games on the Road

Bakersfield, Calif. - The Bakersfield Condors, host of the 2010-11 ECHL All-Star Classic and ECHL affiliate of the Minnesota Wild, will be back on the Mercy and Memorial Hospitals Home Ice at Rabobank Arena for a pair of games on Friday and Saturday after returning from a contest in Las Vegas on Thursday. The Condors will face the Stockton Thunder on Friday and then welcome the Alaska Aces to town on Saturday. For both games, the doors open at 6 p.m. with the drop of the puck at 7 p.m.
On Friday night, the Condors will be giving away Schedule Magnets to all fans in attendance, courtesy of ESPN 1230 AM and Three Way Automotive Group. It is also the first ABC 23, SC Architect, and Kern County Firefighters Condors Classroom Champions Night at Rabobank Arena. Students at participating schools who achieve outstanding attendance levels received a complimentary ticket to the game. All students who qualify can also purchase up to two additional tickets for $8 per ticket so they can bring their parents. The Bakersfield Dragons Squirts will be on the ice for a first intermission scrimmage as well.
Celebrate Halloween in Condorstown on Saturday with Twilight Night sponsored by 106.1 KRAB Radio. Everyone in attendance will receive their choice of a set of glow in the dark vampire fangs (for Team Edward), or a werewolf tattoo (for Team Jacob). Anyone who dresses up like their favorite Twilight saga character will have a chance to win a pair of tickets to see U2 (at Angels Stadium), as well as a Twilight Movie Poster signed by the cast. There will also be a separate general Halloween costume contest, with $106 in cash and tickets to this year's ECHL All-Star Classic at Rabobank Arena going to the winner. Also, anyone with the name "Edward", "Bella", or "Jacob", will receive two-for-one admission to the game.
Prior to the game, fans can watch as Leo B. Hart Elementary School students play broomball on the ice, while the Centennial High School Choir will be performing the National Anthem. During the first intermission the PennPoint Dance Academy will perform a routine on the ice.
The Kern County Library Summer Reading Program participants can receive a free terrace level ticket to either game by turning in the voucher they received from the library.
Following every home game, players will be available at the Bakersfield Marriott at the Convention Center Autograph Booth, located on the arena concourse behind section 108. RW Erick Lizon and D Jean-Francois David will be available on Friday. On Saturday, F Jean-Marc Beaudoin and F Bobby Robins will be at the booth. Players will be available approximately 20 minutes after the conclusion of each home game to greet fans and sign autographs.

Saturday night's game can also be heard live on Fox Sports Radio 970 AM, and Thursday's game at Las Vegas will be on the air as well. Saturday's game will be televised on Bright House Networks Cable Channel 21. All televised contests will also be available on Bakersfield On Demand Cable Channel 300, starting the following day.
