Bakersfield Condors News Release
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - The Bakersfield Condors, official ECHL affiliate of the Anaheim Ducks, announced today five Good Neighbor Games that will allow Fresno Falcons fans to redeem select Falcons tickets for Condors games at no cost. The Falcons ceased operations on Dec. 22, 2008.
There are only five dates of the remaining season on which the Falcons and Condors were both originally scheduled to host games. Any fan with a ticket to one of those five Falcons games can instead bring that ticket to Bakersfield for that night's Condors game. The first of those games is this Saturday, when the Condors host the Ontario Reign for Anaheim Ducks-style Jersey Raffle & Auction Night.
Redeemed Falcons tickets are good for one terrace level Condors ticket, although upgrades will be permitted based on availability. Only Falcons tickets issued for the night of the Good Neighbor Game will be accepted, meaning only Falcons tickets dated Jan. 24 at Selland Arena can be used this Saturday at the Condors game.
The five Good Neighbor Games are listed below, with the Condors opponent and that game's promotion.
Sat. Jan. 24, Falcons vs. Phoenix - NOW GOOD FOR Condors vs. Ontario, 7:30 p.m. (Ducks-style Jersey Raffle & Auction Night)
Tues. Feb. 24, Falcons vs. Alaska - NOW GOOD FOR Condors vs. Alaska, 7 p.m. (Fat Tuesday Canned Food Collection)
Wed. Mar. 25, Falcons vs. Utah - NOW GOOD FOR Condors vs. Victoria, 7 p.m. (Blood Drive Night)
Fri. Mar. 27, Falcons vs. Victoria - NOW GOOD FOR Condors vs. Victoria, 7 p.m. (Quick Change performing act)
Sat. Mar. 28, Falcons vs. Utah - NOW GOOD FOR Condors vs. Las Vegas, 7 p.m. (Hockey Stick & Puck Giveaway)
"Obviously we feel for our fellow hockey fans up Highway 99 right now," said Condors President Matthew Riley. "We're hoping they will accept our invitation and come down and enjoy some Condors hockey instead. If they had tickets for a game, we'd like to give them a game. Even if they want to come down and root against us, just for old times' sake, we certainly understand!"

Notes from the Nest: Condors LW Mark Derlago and F Matt Pope are currently in Reading, Penn., for the ECHL All-Star Game, tonight at 4:05 p.m. The contest will be broadcast live on ESPN Radio 1230. Join Condors broadcasters Kevin Bartl and Andrew Buchbinder with a special pre-game show starting at 3 p.m. Both the Skills Competition and All-Star Game will be carried live, free of charge, on B2 Networks as well.
The Condors return to The Nest against the Alaska Aces on Friday, Jan. 23 for Mark Derlago Bobblehead Night, sponsored by KGET-TV 17 and Barber Honda. Game time is 7 p.m.
On Saturday, the Condors host the Ontario Reign for Anaheim Ducks-style Jersey Raffle & Auction. The Condors and Reign will both wear jerseys paying tribute to their NHL Affiliates (for the Reign, it's the LA Kings), and the Condors will auction them off after the game to raise proceeds for the Boys & Girls Club of Kern County. Also, everyone in attendance will have the chance to win five of the game-worn jerseys, raffled off at the game. The night is sponsored by Bright House Networks, 98.5 The Fox and American Business Machines, and has a special 7:30 p.m. start time.
The Condors will wear the Ducks-style jerseys on Sunday as well, as they finish up a home-and-home series with the Reign in Ontario at 5 p.m.
Get Tickets: Individual game tickets may be purchased through the Rabobank Arena Box Office, which is open from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. on Saturday with extended hours on game days.
