Dayton Bombers News Release

Dayton, OH - The Dayton Bombers have traded defenseman Mike Looby to the Gwinnett Gladiators in exchange for future considerations, head coach Bill McDonald announced today.

The 23-year-old Looby appeared in 40 games for the Bombers, recording three goals and four assists for seven points. He was whistled for 39 PIM.

"Unfortunately we are in a situation with too many defensemen," McDonald said. "Gwinnett has a great program and coach and we're giving Mike the chance to get more playing time."

The Brampton, Ontario native is in his third professional season, and first in the ECHL. Looby had previously played for two years in the Central Hockey League, totaling 38 points (7g,31a) in 124 games with Arizona, Rio Grande Valley and Tulsa.
