Conditioning Stint Over For Weaver

MANCHESTER, NH - Defenseman Mike Weaver has completed his two week conditioning stint with the Manchester Monarchs and has returned to the parent club, the Los Angeles Kings, Monarchs Director of Hockey Operations Hubie McDonough announced today.

Weaver, 28, collected four points (1-3=4) and two penalty minutes in seven games with the Monarchs this season. The 5-foot-9, 182-pound native of Bramalea, Ontario, has two points (both assists) and two penalty minutes in 12 games with the Kings this season. Weaver has appeared in 122 career regular season NHL games with the Kings and Atlanta, and has 17 points (all assists) and 46 penalty minutes. Weaver played in 79 games with the Monarchs during the 2004-05 season and collected 23 points (1-22=23) and 61 penalty minutes.
