Colts Complete Priority Selection

Barrie, ON- The Barrie Colts officially completed the Ontario Hockey League Priority Selection today with 15 picks throughout 15 rounds.
Barrie selected eight forwards, including Ryan Strome and Zach Hall who combined for 199 points last season, six defensemen and one goaltender, in the draft that was conducted live via internet from the Molson Centre in Barrie.
"Well we feel that we drafted very well today, we definitely filled a lot of holes in terms of the future," said Barrie Colts Head Coach Marty Williamson. "Our top two picks we feel will be able to bring something to the table right away, so we are definitely happy with today's outcome."
This is the ninth consecutive year the OHL has performed the draft on the internet, as 20 member clubs made picks from their respective cities, beginning with the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds who selected Daniel Catenacci first overall.
The Colts used their first round selection to draft Ryan Strome from the Toronto Marlboros eighth overall.
