
College Professor Brings Anthem Tour to Burlington

BURLINGTON, VT --- During the summer months college professors fill their time off with a variety of hobbies, jobs and pastimes. Whittier College Religious Studies Professor Joe Price spends his time off in a most unique way.

Professor Price has set out to travel the country and sing the national anthem at over 100 minor league stadiums in 40 states over the course of the summer of 2011. Price has previously preformed at 30 Major League Baseball games at 20 separate ballparks.

Price will make an appearance at historic Centennial Field on Sunday July 3 for the 1:05 game between the Vermont Lake Monsters and the Tri-City Valley Cats. According to his website, performance at Centennial Field will be his 63rdÃÂ anthem performance of the summer.
