Norwich Sea Unicorns News Release
NORWICH, CT - The Connecticut Tigers are proud to announce that Tyler Hunter, who is a tribute performer portraying the King of Rock N Roll Elvis, will sing the national anthem and do a meet and greet with fans on Sunday afternoon as part of the festivities for Sunday Funday against the Lowell Spinners. First pitch for the game is at 1:05 PM.
Originally, it was supposed to be the King of Pop Michael Jackson performing, but he is unable to attend due to a scheduling conflict.
Hunter just came in second place in the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Regional Competition in Las Vegas. He performs as Elvis in his early concert and performance days. A Whole Lotta Shakin will be going on Sunday!
Hunter will be performing in the award-winning live tribute show "Legends in Concert," which returns to Foxwoods Resort Casino for the fifth time. The show opens on July 1 with seven performances scheduled weekly through Labor Day weekend (September 4).
Tickets to the world's original tribute show are available online at
www.foxwoods.com, by calling the Foxwoods Box Office at 800-200-2882, through Ticketmaster, or in person at the Foxwoods Box Office.
The "Legends" summer 2011 production will feature shows at 8 p.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays through Saturdays, with Wednesday matinees at 1 p.m. and Sundays at 4 p.m.
July's line-up includes Michael Jackson, Cher, Liberace, Elvis, and Britney Spears. In August, don't miss The Beatles, Celine Dion, Frank Sinatra, Donna Summer, and Carrie Underwood.
