Colin James to peform at 2008 Manitoba Moose Yearling Foundation Gala Dinner

The Manitoba Moose Yearling Foundation is pleased to announce six time Juno Award winner Colin James will perform as part of the 2008 Manitoba Moose Yearling Foundation Gala Dinner to be held at ice level of the MTS Centre on Thursday, Febuary 14th at 6:00 p.m.

With this year's event falling on Valentine's Day, the Moose Yearling Foundation is excited to share their passion for hockey, entertainment, and the community with the theme, "Passion, Its What We Do!". Complete with the opportunity to meet Head Coach Scott Arniel and members of the Manitoba Moose Hockey Club, guests will also have a chance to participate in a silent auction showcasing one-of-a-kind autographed items from American Hockey League and National Hockey League players, as well as various MTS Centre artists. Last year's event was an overwhelming success with over 780 people in attendance.

James resume features such smash hits as "Why'd You Lie", "Voodoo Thing", and "5 Long Years" over his 10-album, 25-year career.

The Yearling Foundation is also pleased to welcome Bob Irving, Sports Director at CJOB 680 AM as the Master of Ceremonies.

The Manitoba Moose Yearling Foundation is the official charity of the Manitoba Moose Hockey Club. The Yearling Foundation is a non-profit organization that raises money year round and donates this money to a variety of registered children's charities in Manitoba. Since its inception in 1996, the Yearling Foundation has raised and dispersed over 1.8 million dollars.
