
Clones Add Defenseman Nick Cammarata

Cincinnati, OH-Cyclones General Manager/Head Coach Chris Cichocki announced today that the team has acquired defenseman Nick Cammarata from the Pensacola Ice Pilots in exchange for financial considerations. Cammarata will join the Cyclones line-up tonight vs. the Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies at U.S. Bank Arena.
Cammarata is a 6-1, 205-pound defenseman from Merrimack College. He is in his second season of pro hockey. Cammarata has split this season between the Louisiana IceGators, the Greenville Grrrowl and the Pensacola Ice Pilots. In 12 ECHL games this season, Cammarata has an assist and two penalty minutes.
Over four seasons at Merrimack, Cammarata played 128 collegiate games. He scored 28 points on eight goals and 20 assists. Cammarata recorded 100 penalty minutes during his college career.
Cammarata and the Clones take to the ice tonight against the defending Kelly Cup Champion, the Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies. Game time is 7:30 p.m. at U.S. Bank Arena.
