ONTARIO, Calif. - The Agua Caliente Clippers (4-3) put up a fight but couldn't overcome the Canton Charge (6-1), falling 107-104, on Sunday evening.

Facing a 14-point deficit with 9:19 remaining in the fourth quarter, the Clippers chipped away at the Charge lead, cutting it to 103-100 on a Donte Grantham putback dunk with 2:01 left on the clock. With 18 seconds on the clock and a chance to tie the game, Mfiondu Kabengele missed a three-pointer and the Charge would go on to seal the game at the free throw line.

James Palmer Jr. led the Clippers in the scoring column, knocking down 9 of his 18 shot attempts for 21 points. Johnathan Motley (14 points, 10 rebounds), Mfiondu Kabengele (13 points, 10 rebounds), and Donte Grantham (12 points, 12 rebounds) each recorded double-doubles for the Clippers.

Canton was led by center Tyler Cook's game-high 28 points. He would also grab 10 rebounds to complete the double-double.

Up next, the Clippers will head to the Central Valley to take on the Stockton Kings in a post-Thanksgiving day matchup. The ballgame will tip-off at 7 p.m. PST inside the Stockton Arena in Stockton, Calif.
