Indiana Mad Ants News Release

Fort Wayne, Ind. - The Fort Wayne Mad Ants, presented by Lutheran Health Network, the NBA G League affiliate of the Indiana Pacers, defeated the Windy City Bulls, 121-113 on Sunday night at the Coliseum.

On assignment from the Pacers, forward Alize Johnson ended the night with a career-best 36 points on 12-of-18 shooting from the floor. Johnson picked up where he left off last season in Fort Wayne (1-6) with 14 rebounds and seven assists.

Sunday night's performance was his 24th double-double in 32 games with Fort Wayne.

With the game tied at 80 entering the final quarter, Johnson rallied the Fort Wayne scoring effort with 22 of his 36 points in the fourth quarter, including an 11-of-13 clip from the free throw line.

The 10-point lead for Fort Wayne in the first quarter tonight, which was the largest all season by the Mad Ants, was also the largest lead of the game between the central division foes.

C.J. Wilcox added a season-high 24 points on 8-of-11 shooting from the perimeter, which tied a franchise record for most made 3-point shots by a Mad Ants player in a regular season game.

Windy City (4-3) was paced by Chicago Bulls two-way forward Max Struss with 22 points and seven rebounds.

Justin Simon, P.J. Dozier and Milton Doyle all finished the night with at least 20 points as Windy City dropped a second consecutive game.

Forward Darel Poirier rounded out the night with 14 points and 11 rebounds as all five Bulls starters ended the game with at least 10 points.

The Mad Ants hit the road for a Tuesday night game at the Westchester Knicks, while Windy City will head north to take on Raptors 905 on Tuesday as well.

Fort Wayne returns home on Friday to face the Texas Legends at 7 p.m. at the Coliseum for "Grateful Dead Night", presented by Sweetwater.
