
Cleveland Options RHP Brian Slocum to Bisons

The Cleveland Indians today announced that they have optioned RHP Brian Slocum to the Buffalo Bisons. The Tribe also reassigned RHP Jeff Harris, RHP Adam Miller, LHP Tony Sipp, C Wyatt Toregas and OF Trevor Crowe to minor league camp.
Slocum, 26, spent the majority of the 2006 season with the Bisons. He posted a 6-3 record and one save to go along with a 3.35ERA (94.0IP, 78H, 42R, 35ER, 37BB, 91K). He finished third on the team in strikeouts and fourth in average against (.227). He won five consecutive starts for the Herd, July 20-August 11 (28.1IP, 6ER, 18K). Slocum also made two stints with the Indians and was 0-0 with a 5.60ERA.
