
Lynx top Bulls for fourth straight win

OTTAWA - The Lynx featured a balanced offence in defeating Durham yesterday. Eight players each had a hit and the pitching staff allowed only one walk as Ottawa beat the Bulls 6-3.
Ryan Fleming paced the Lynx attack with a triple, a run scored, two runs batted in and two stolen bases. Jayson Werth hit a solo home run, while Jason Hill and former Lynx Lou Collier chipped in the other RBI. Gary Burnham, Greg Jacobs and Mike Costanzo had the other Lynx hits.
Former Blue Jay Justin Miller got the start. He allowed two runs over four innings, striking out five. Tim McClaskey allowed a run over two innings, while Yoel Hernandez threw two scoreless frames and Chris Key threw a scoreless 9th.
The Ottawa Lynx will open the 2007 season, their first season as the Triple-A affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies, in Rochester on April 6.
