GAME TODAY: ROUND ROCK at BISONS (1:00 p.m.)
The Buffalo Bisons (1-0-1) play will host the Round Rock Express (Houston Astros) TODAY at 1:00 p.m. from Winter Haven, FL.
HERD DOUBLES UP RICHMOND, 14-7.
The Bisons (1-0-1) defeated the Richmond Braves yesterday, 14-7. OF Brad Snyder went 3-5 with a triple, a home run (1), 4RBI and a stolen base. INF Jake Gautreau was 2-4 with two doubles and now has three doubles in the first two spring games. INF Alan Zinter and INF Rodney Choy Foo also homered for Buffalo. J.D. Martin (1-0) earned his first victory of the spring (2.2IP, 3H, 3R, 1ER, 2BB, 2K).
SLOCUM OPTIONED TO HERD
The Cleveland Indians optioned RHP Brian Slocum to the Herd today. Slocum was 6-3 with a 3.35ERA and 1 save in 27 games for the Bisons in 2006. The Tribe also reassigned RHP Adam Miller, RHP Jeff Harris, LHP Tony Sipp, C Wyatt Toregas, and OF Trevor Crowe to minor league camp.

OFFICE HOURS EXTENDED
The Dunn Tire Park Box Office is now open Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. until the end of the season. For Saturday and Sunday afternoon games, the hours will be from 10:00 a.m. through the end of the game. For evening weekend games, the box office will be open 12:00 p.m. through the end of the game.
BATTING HELMET GIVEAWAY ADDED
The Bisons have added to their already jam-packed promotional schedule. The team will give out 4,000 full-sized batting helmets prior to their 7:05 p.m. game against the Norfolk Tides on Saturday, June 23. The game is also the team's Faith Night, with pre-game tent concert by Hawk Nelson and an appearance from the Veggie Tales. A complete promotional schedule is available at Bisons.com.
FINAL WORKOUTS
Bisons manager Torey Lovullo has scheduled two team workouts that will be open to the media. The team will make final preparations for the season at Dunn Tire Park on Tuesday, April 3 (2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.) and Wednesday, April 4 (6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.). Both practices are weather permitting and subject to change.
SINGERS, TAKE NOTE
The Bisons will hold their annual National Anthem auditions on Friday, March 23 (10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.) and Saturday, March 24 (11:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.) at Dunn Tire Park. There will be singers performing every 10 minutes except for a half-hour break from 1:00 p.m. - 1:30 p.m. All singers must schedule times in advance by calling the Bisons at (716) 846-2080; no walk ups will be allowed. The tryouts are rain or shine.
