Clarke Returns To Nailers For Playoff Run

WHEELING,WV - The Wheeling Nailers, the ECHL Affiliate of the Pittsburgh and Wilkes-Barre/ Scranton Penguins, announce today that forward Aaron Clarke has been re-assigned to the team from the Albany River Rats of the AHL.

Clarke, 26, has appeared in 17 games for the River Rats this season, recording 5 points (2+3) and a plus 2 rating with 2 penalty minutes.

While with the Nailers, Clarke has appeared in 40 games, posting 37 points (11+26) and a plus rating of 0 with 36 penalty minutes.

At the time of his call up to Albany on February 26th, Clarke was third on the Nailers in points scored with 36.

The Nailers kickoff their chase for the cup this Thursday in Cincinnati at 7:30 pm. Catch all the action on wheelingnailers.com.

The Nailers return to WesBanco Arena on Saturday night for Game #3 against the Cyclones at 7:35 PM.
