
Cyclones Playoff Roster Announced

CINCINNATI, Ohio - The Cincinnati Cyclones of the ECHL have announced their playoff roster for the upcoming Kelly Cup playoffs The Cyclones are the ECHL affiliate for the Montreal Canadiens and Nashville Predators of the NHL.
Each ECHL team can designate 23 players to its postseason roster. There are no additions that can be made to this list unless an emergency situation arises. The only players that can be utilized in those circumstances are those who completed the season with amateur standing (college or junior players are usually the norm).
For the Kelly Cup playoffs, the Cyclones will use 12 forwards, nine defensemen and two goaltenders. The breakdown of players and positions is located at the bottom of this release. The roster is subject to verification from the league office.
The twelve forwards have 534 games of ECHL experience this season and have contributed 183 goals and 217 assists for 400 points. The group has 131 games of American Hockey League (AHL) experience during the year and have four goals and 15 assists for 19 points.
The nine defensemen have 324 games in the ECHL this season and collected 127 points on 25 goals and 102 assists. In AHL action this season, the group played 74 games and had a pair of goals and eight assists for ten points.
The goaltending tandem was 33-19-3 with a 2.90 goals against average and a .896 save percentage with three shutouts. At the AHL level, they combined for a 6-1 record with a 2.01 goals against average and a .922 save percentage.

The Cincinnati Cyclones play host to Wheeling on Thursday night (April 9) and Friday night (April 10) at 7:30pm at U.S. Bank Arena.
