
Chudier Bile to Play for South Sudan at the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 African Qualifiers

(GREENSBORO, N.C.) - Greensboro Swarm forward Chudier Bile will play for South Sudan at the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 African Qualifiers starting Friday, February 25, at Dakar Arena in Diamniadio, Senegal. Bile and his South Sudan teammates will play three games in three days during the qualifying window.
Action begins on Friday with Rwanda at 7:00 a.m. ET, followed by Tunisia on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. ET and concluding with Cameroon on Sunday at 10:00 a.m. ET.
A total of 16 African teams are competing for a spot in the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 through five tournament windows running from November 2021 to February 2023. Five African teams will earn a spot in World Cup which will take place in the fall of 2023.
Bile has appeared in nine games for the Swarm during the regular season. He has produced averages of 5.6 points, 1.9 rebounds and 0.8 assists in 11.8 minutes per game. The Denver native is in his rookie season with Greensboro after being the No. 23 overall selection by the team in the 2021 NBA G League Draft.
