SOUTHAVEN, Miss. - The Austin Spurs defeated the Memphis Hustle by a final score of 142-116 on Wednesday night.
The Spurs reached a new franchise high for points in a quarter with 49 in the third. Nate Renfro's half-court shot to end the quarter gave Austin the three points the team needed to top the previous record of 46 points in a quarter.
Two-way player Devontae Cacok recorded 17 points, 13 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals in Austin's win, and two-way player Joe Wieskamp finished with 10 points and 3 rebounds.
Jordan Murphy also notched a double-double for the Spurs with 15 points and 11 rebounds. Four other Austin players scored in double figures: Damyean Dotson (21), Kaleb Johnson (18), Jaylen Morris (18) and Jayvon Graves (16).
Shaq Buchanan led Memphis with 21 points.
