Chiefs Win Second Straight

Johnstown, PA- In front of their fourth sellout crowd (3,728) of the season, the Chiefs defeated the visiting Trenton Titans 4-2, Saturday night at the War Memorial.

Chad Cavanagh, Steve Hildenbrand, Jeff Zehr and Brent Kelly all scored for Johnstown. Tyler Kindle and Bryce Cockburn scored for Trenton.

Chiefs goaltender Dimitri Patzold (9 saves) got his first ECHL win in his first game in a Chiefs uniform. The Chiefs out shot the Titans 41-11 in the contest including holding the Titans to one shot in the second period. Titans goaltender Andrew Allen made 37 saves in the defeat.

The Chiefs improve their record 29-16-6 and the Titans fall to 25-20-5.

The Chiefs are back in action tomorrow afternoon, when they host the Dayton Bombers at 2:30 p.m. Following Sunday's game, there will be a "Skate With the Chiefs." Admission is free; however skate rentals will not be available. Wednesday, the Chiefs travel to Trenton, and Friday to Toledo. Next weekend, the Chiefs will host Toledo on Saturday night (7:00 p.m.) and Trenton (2:30 p.m.) on Sunday.
