Chiefs Snap Winless Streak With Win at Trenton

Trenton, NJ- Jason Notermann and Shawn Mather each had two goals for the Johnstown Chiefs as they snapped their three game losing streak with a 4-2 win over the Trenton Titans, Wednesday night at Sovereign Bank Arena. The victory was the Chiefs first road win in four games.

Newcomer Larry Courville recorded his first point as a Chief, in his first game, as he assisted on Mather's game winning goal with 14:09 left in regulation. Mather added an empty net goal late in the third period.

Chiefs goaltender David Currie picked up his third win of the season making 28 saves. Trenton goaltender Alex Westlund made 19 saves.

The Chiefs improve their record to 18-14-3 and remain in fifth place in the Northern division. Trenton is now 15-13-2.
