Chiefs Homestand Continues Thursday

Thursday, August 9th

Thursday, August 9th is a night for the Chiefs to celebrate their 25th Anniversary with the final Throwback Thursday as Peoria takes on Great Lakes at 7:00 PM. The Chiefs have worn replica 1980s Chiefs jerseys on each Thursday this season and the jerseys will be auctioned off during and after the game.

Friday, August 10th

Friday, August 10th is Peoria Rivermen Night as the Chiefs take on the Great Lakes Loons at 6:30 PM. The Chiefs will wear custom designed Riverman Jerseys which will be auctioned off during and after the game to benefit St. Jude's.

August 13th - 14th

After a brief two-game weekend set in Kane County, the Chiefs return home on Monday August 13th for a pair of games against Kane County. The Chiefs and Cougars are currently batting for one of two second half playoff spots so all four games are crucial for both teams.

Former Chiefs 2B Eric Patterson Headed to Big Leagues

The Chicago Cubs have promoted former Peoria Chiefs star Eric Patterson to the big leagues to replace injured outfielder Alfonso Soriano who landed on the DL after a Sunday night injury.
