Johnstown Chiefs News Release

Johnstown, PA - The streaking Johnstown Chiefs are back on home ice this weekend with games Saturday night versus the Dayton Bombers at 7:00 p.m. and Sunday afternoon at 5:00 p.m. against the Reading Royals. The Chiefs are unbeaten in their last seven games going 5-0-2.

Saturday night's game is the annual Toyota paper airplane toss. At the conclusion of the game all fans will be invited to throw a paper airplane towards the car. If the paper airplane goes through the hole in the sun roof that person wins the vehicle.

Sunday's game is the first annual "Pink in the Rink," game. With each ticket sold, the Chiefs will donate one dollar to the Conemaugh Hospital Foundation to benefit breast cancer patients and survivors. In addition, the Chiefs will be wearing special pink jerseys that will be auctioned off following the game with a portion of the net proceeds going to the foundation. Also after the game all fans are invited to bring their skates and take the ice with the Chiefs players.

Tickets for all upcoming home games are now on sale at the Cambria County War Memorial Box office or by calling (814) 536-5156 or by visiting www.ticketmaster.com.
