Johnstown, PA- Jean Desrochers' goal with 1:22 left in the third period lifted the Johnstown Chiefs to a 6-5 win over the Peoria Rivermen Friday night at the War Memorial Arena in front of a crowd of 3,351.

Steve Hildenbrand had a pair of goals for the Chiefs who remain unbeaten in regulation this season at 3-0-5. Shawn Mather, Joe Tallari and P.L. Courchesne also scored for the Chiefs. Troy Riddle scored twice for Peoria, while Brian McCullough, Randy Rowe and Justin Maiser also tallied.

Chiefs goaltender David Currie got his third win of the season making 24 saves. Alfie Michaud made 22 saves for the Rivermen who are now 2-2-2 on the season.

The Chiefs and Rivermen face-off again tomorrow night at 7:05 p.m. Wednesday night, the Chiefs will play a road game against the Wheeling Nailers at the Southpointe Ice Arena in Canonsburg, PA at 7:30 p.m. The Chiefs will return home Friday November 16th when they host the Dayton Bombers.
