
Checkers Race Night to benefit Victory Junction Gang Camp

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The Checkers have partnered with several organizations to help raise money for Victory Junction Gang Camp at the team's AutoTrader.com Race Night game tomorrow. AutoTrader.com, Papa John's Pizza and The VUE Charlotte are amongst several sponsors for the night.
The Checkers will welcome several drivers who will be in attendance and signing autographs before the game. Some of the drivers included in the night's festivities are Reed Sorenson, David Stremme, Sean Caisse, Kevin Lepage, Ted Musgrave, Jr. and Doug Herbert.
The entire game will have a racing theme with show cars on display and the debut of Extreme Ice Center's bumper cars which will be used during the first intermission in a NASCAR style race on the ice.
The Checkers will kick off Race Night tomorrow from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm at the corner of Trade and Tryon by displaying their Zamboni and the "Car of Tomorrow" from the Jeff Gordon Racing School. The Checkers will try to fill the Zamboni with donations to benefit the Victory Junction Gang Camp.
