Pensacola Ice Pilots News Release

PENSACOLA, FL - The Hangar has been a great place to play in recent games for the Pensacola Ice Pilots and they hope that continues this weekend when they open up a two game home stand tomorrow (Friday) night at 7:05 pm against the Texas Wildcatters.

The Ice Pilots have three wins in their last five games on home ice and one of those victories was a 7-4 triumph over the Wildcatters in late December. Rob Rankin makes his return to the line-up fresh off his two-assist performance at the ECHL All-Star Game in Boise, Idaho.

The two teams will meet again Saturday at 7:05 pm and then race back to Beaumont, TX to face one another for a third time on Sunday at 2 pm.

It's a busy weekend of entertainment and fun at the Civic Center which starts on Friday when Superfan will be in attendance. He likes to dance and energize the crowd throughout the game.

On Saturday night it's Ice Man's Birthday and there will be a variety of games and activities planned for fans of all ages. It is also Girl Scout Night at The Hangar. To book your troop call Aaron Horowitz also at 432-PUCK.
