CHECKERS PRE-SEASON MATCH-UP INFERNO MAKE THE TRIP TO CHARLOTTE

For the Checkers only pre-season home game, the Columbia Inferno will make the trip up I-77 to face-off against the Checkers on Monday, October 13th at 7:00PM.

TRAINING CAMP WELL UNDER WAY ROSTER UPDATES AVAILABLE

With the 2003 Training Camp nearly half way complete, there are several new faces as well as a few very familiar faces on the ice this year. Some of the fan-favorites like Konrad McKay and Nick Bilotto have returned for another season on the ice at Cricket Arena.

There have also been some other exciting additions to the list. Blaz Emersic and Dustin Kingston are very promising offensive pick-ups and Doug MacIver along with Jim Vickers bring a couple years experience in the ECHL.

The Checkers will continue to be strong in net with Scott Meyer and David St. Germain between the pipes. Both bring valuable AHL experience with them and should help back a solid Checkers defense.
