Charlotte Checkers Playoff Clinching Scenario Tonight

Charlotte Checkers News Release
Please be advised that the Charlotte Checkers can clinch a playoff spot tonight (Friday) should the following occur:
a Bridgeport regulation loss at W-B/Scranton (7:05 p.m.) Should the Checkers clinch tonight, the team will immediately release additional information. Dates, times and opponent for first-round playoff games could not be determined until a later date.
Charlotte, which has four games remaining, currently holds a 10-point lead over Bridgeport, the Atlantic Divison's fifth-place team, which has two games in hand. The Checkers return to action for their final two home games of the regular season against the Hershey Bears this Saturday (6 p.m.) and Sunday (1 p.m.).
