The Canton Charge (21-13), presented by SecureData 365 and powered by the Cleveland Cavaliers, defeated the Raptors 905 (13-22), 116-93, on the road Sunday evening for their second-largest margin of victory this season. The win extended Canton's franchise record win streak to nine games and they have won 16 of their last 18 games.
Seven Charge players scored in double figures, including all four from the bench, led by Antoine Agudio's 19 points. Juvonte Reddic posted his first career double-double of 13 points and a Charge team single game season-high 19 rebounds in 32 minutes. Michael Stockton also had his first double-double with 18 points and a season-high 12 assists with two steals. The Canton bench outscored the Raptors' reserves 66-28.
There was one lead change the entire game that came when D.J. Stephens dunked a fast break pass from Michael Dunigan to put the Charge up 5-4 at the 10:01 mark in the first. Canton led the rest of the way and by as many as 20+ for the second time in as many nights. The Charge lead the season series between the two teams 3-0 with the final matchup coming the last game of the season.
Bruno Caboclo scored 21 points, grabbed six boards, and four assists in 33 minutes on assignment from Toronto. Sim Bhullar (21 points, 10 rebounds) and Greg Smith (12 points, 12 rebounds) reach posted double-doubles for the second consecutive night.
Sir'Dominic Pointer scored 16 points and grabbed six boards in 24 minutes. Nick Minnerath added 18 points and five rebounds, while John Holland scored 13 points. D.J. Stephens scored 14 points and swatted three blocks in 25 minutes.
