
Celebrity Athletes to Compete at LeSean McCoy Softball Game

LANCASTER, PA - Three Pro-Bowl defensive backs have been added to the roster of NFL Stars coming to Lancaster to play in the 2nd Annual LeSean McCoy Celebrity Softball game at Clipper Magazine Stadium in Lancaster, PA on Saturday, June 22nd at 7pm. Widely considered to be the finest defensive back in the National Football League, Darrelle Revis will join his fellow University of Pittsburgh great, LeSean McCoy, in Lancaster on June 22nd. The longtime New York Jet, recently traded to Tampa Bay, will be joined by All Pros Asante Samuel and Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie. Rogers-Cromartie, who starred for the Eagles softball team in the inaugural LeSean McCoy Celebrity Softball Game in 2012, will trade jerseys and play for the NFL team against the Eagles.
Other Philadelphia Eagles who have pledged to make the trip to Lancaster on June 22nd are former first round pick Fletcher Cox and long-time Eagle tight end, Brent Celek. Eagles and Steelers great, Duce Staley will also be joining the Eagles' roster for the softball game.
Penn State stalwart, Jared Odrick, currently of the Miami Dolphins, has committed to attending the game, as have Tampa Bay's Kevin Ogletree, Greg Little and Dion Lewis of the Cleveland Browns and wide receiver, Chris Givens, of the St. Louis Rams.
"I am not done calling on my friends and teammates to join me on June 22nd in Lancaster," LeSean McCoy added. "Expect even more big name NFL players to join me on the softball field at Clipper Magazine Stadium for the big day!"
Kegel's Produce was just named the official sponsor of the "Home Run Derby" which is scheduled to start at 6pm.
Limited tickets are still available. Dugout box seats are $40, field box seats are $20 and lawn seats are $10. A special "All-You-Can Eat" Hess Barbeque picnic is available for $60.
