Southern Maryland Blue Crabs News Release
WALDORF, Md. - The Lancaster Barnstormers and Southern Maryland Blue Crabs will make up their game previously scheduled for June 6 on Tuesday, June 25 in Southern Maryland, it was announced today by the two clubs and the Atlantic League.
It will be played as the first game of a doubleheader at Regency Furniture Stadium in Waldorf, MD, home of the Blue Crabs. The doubleheader will begin at 6:05 p.m.
Persistent rains forced the postponement of the game on its original date, the final day of a three-game series. It was the only series Southern Maryland was scheduled to play in Lancaster during the first half of the season. League policy requires that, when possible, the game be played prior to the completion of the half. No off date was readily available for the game to be rescheduled at Clipper Magazine Stadium.
