Oklahoma City, OK - The Oklahoma City RedHawks will battle the Nashville Sounds on Sunday, July 4 at 7:05 p.m. Fans can expect a traditional patriotic celebration with a pink twist. RedHawks players will wear special pink jerseys during the game in support of Susan G. Komen for a Cure. The pink jerseys will be auctioned off during the game with all proceeds benefiting Komen.
The Komen jersey auction is an annual event at AT&T Bricktown Ballpark. Along with RedHawks' pink jerseys, a Nolan Ryan autographed Rangers jersey will be part of the silent auction. RedHawks breast cancer t-shirts will also be available for purchase. The auction will end the last out of the sixth inning. Winning bidders will have their jersey autographed on the field following the game.
RedHawks fans will also have the best seat in town for the Official Downtown Oklahoma City Fireworks Show presented by Integris Heart Hospital following the game. Tickets are available by calling 405-218-1000 or visiting www.okcredhawks.com .
