Cubs-Zephyrs Rained out Monday
June 28, 2010 - Pacific Coast League (PCL1)
New Orleans Baby Cakes News Release
Persistent heavy rains in Southeast Louisiana postponed Monday night's scheduled game between the New Orleans Zephyrs and Iowa Cubs.
Because of travel arrangements on Tuesday for the series finale between the clubs, Monday's rain out will be made up as part of a doubleheader in Des Moines when the Zephyrs visit Principal Park from July 8-11.
The series finale, scheduled for 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, will still feature former
Rummel and UNO star Thomas Diamond, taking the mound for Iowa. All fans wearing UNO merchandise will receive discounted admission for $5.
