Moncton Wildcats News Release
The Wildcats continued their first period dominance jumping out to an early two goal lead. Goals came from Scott Trask and Ryan Penny. The let their foot off the gas early in the second and found themselves trailing 3-2. The Saulnier brothers came to the rescue late in the period getting a goal each and taking the lead into the dressing room after 40 minutes of play. The third period was all Will as he turned away 10 shots to Moncton's three and secured the Win!
The Cats took the game 4-3 in front 3327 fans. Shots on goal were 30-26 in favor of Gatineau. Both Moncton and Gatineau were 0/1 on the PP. Three starts were:
1. MON - 19 Allain Saulnier
2. MON - 21 Alex Saulnier
3. GAT - 23 Adam Chapman
The Cats are back in action Friday December 16th against the Halifax Mooseheads!! Bring a teddy bear to the game wrapped in a plastic bag to throw in the ice after the Wildcats first goal!
