
TELUS three stars of the month for November named

BOUCHERVILLE, Thursday, December 1st, 2011 - The Quebec Major Junior Hockey League today announced the TELUS three stars of the month for November.
The first star is awarded to Zack Phillips. In thirteen games, the Saint John Sea Dogs forward tallied 5 goals and 18 assists while posting a +13 rating. Phillips established a new team record by recording at least one point in 20 consecutive games. With a total of 48 points, he trails league-leader Zach O'Brien, by only four points. Phillips registered 16 of his 23 points during the Sea Dogs' 8 road games. Phillips has been a key offensive producer in the absences of Stanislav Galiev and Jonathan Huberdeau.
The second star is awarded to Mikhail Grigorenko. The Quebec Remparts right-winger scored 10 goals and added 9 assists in 12 games. Moreover, he collected 2 points or more in 7 games this month while registering the game-winning goal in a big game versus the Saint John Sea Dogs a few days ago. Grigorenko went 4 consecutive games with at least one goal. The sniper is ranked third in the league in scoring with 22 goals.
The third star belongs to Roman Will. The goaltender received an average of 27.4 shots during his eight starts, posting an impressive 7-1 record. His only loss (2-1) was in overtime against Saint John on November 29th. He also recorded a shutout on November 12th against the Baie-Comeau Drakkar. He finished the month with a goals-against-average of 1.81 and a save percentage of .934.
