Catcher Juan Apodaca Reassigned to Tennessee

Des Moines, IA - Catcher Juan Apodaca was reassigned to double-A Tennessee today.
The backstop was promoted to Iowa on April 28 and appeared in 29 games behind the plate. The Venezuelan native posted a .337 batting average with one home run, 16 RBI, and a .447 on-base percentage over 38 games.
The Iowa Cubs play game two of their three-game set with the Oklahoma City RedHawks tonight with a 7:05 p.m. start at Principal Park.
