Zebulon, NC --- Angel Molina hit a three-run homer in the second inning to help lead Carolina past Mobile 4-3 at Five County Stadium on Saturday night.

Molina's second home run of the season erased a 2-0 deficit against Roger Deago (L, 3-2). Ben Julianel (W, 1-3) earned his first Marlins organizational win pitching five innings allowing two runs.

Christopher Young pitched three scoreless innings to get the game to Taylor Tankersley (S, 4) in the ninth. Tankersley walked pinch-hitter Adam Bourassa to begin the inning, then surrendered a triple against the centerfield wall by Kennard Jones with no outs as Mobile (10-19). But Tankersley induced a shallow popout by Brett Dowdy to centerfield, on which Jones bluffed tagging up. Tankersley then fanned George Kottaras before walking Brett Bonvechio. Steve Baker, after nearly taking strike three on a 2-2 curveball, did so on 3-2 as the Mudcats (13-17) won the series 4-1.

Carolina heads to the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville Sunday afternoon to begin a five-game set against the Suns at 3:05 PM ET. Adam Bostick (0-2, 4.05) starts the opener for Carolina against Danny Muegge (2-3, 4.08).
