
Captains Return Home for the Final Home Stand of the Season

Lake County Captains News Release
(Eastlake, OH) - The Lake County Captains, class A affiliate of the Cleveland Indians, will begin the final home stand of the 2013 season tomorrow as the Lansing Lugnuts (Blue Jays) visit Classic Park.
Tomorrow the Captains will feature a special buy two, get two special on hot dogs, hamburgers, cheeseburgers, grilled chicken sandwiches, French fries, onion rings, nachos and popcorn. Game time is 7 PM.
The Captains will hold a College Fair tomorrow as well and nine different institutions of higher learning will be in attendance. Prospective students will receive a punch card upon arrival, and if they visit each school's information table and get their card punch by each, they will be entered in a drawing to win a $1,000 scholarship. Gates will open at 5 PM.
Thursday is Thirsty Thursday, presented by ESPN 850 WKNR, featuring a 25-cent beer Happy Hour for one hour before game time and half-price draft beer and fountain soda until 9 PM. A wing and pizza buffet will also be available outside the Corona Castaways Bar, featuring Happy Moose Bar and Grill wing sauces and pizza from Cleveland Pizza Company. Game time is 7 PM.
Thursday the first 1,000 adult fans will receive a 16-month Captains Calendar courtesy of Lake Health.
Friday's 7 PM game will be followed by a Fireworks Friday Night presented by Universal Windows Direct. Following the fireworks spectacular, the Captains Friday Night Concert Series concludes with Cleveland's Breakfast Club which is the Ultimate 80's Tribute Band that plays tributes to Journey, Van Halen, Bon Jovi, Def Leppard, along with new wave favorites, Metal 101, Party Dance Set and much more. They will perform on-stage adjacent to Castaways Bar.
Friday is also SuperMegaPrizeAthon in conjunction with Groverpalooza which will be a tribute to the Captains on-field host, Grover. There will be special in-game promotions, music, videos and other special events focused on the legendary antics of Grover. Captains fans will also be bombarded with hundreds of prizes throughout the night.

Prior to the game on Friday, the second annual Facebook and Twitter softball games will take place. Two teams representing Facebook will square off against each other and two teams representing Twitter will do the same to see who will reign supreme in their respective social media worlds. Gates open at 2:30 PM for the 3 PM softball games and any fan with a ticket for the Captains game that night may attend.
