November 13, 2015 - United States Hockey League (USHL)
Madison Capitols News Release
Dubuque, IA - The Madison Capitols (6-5-0) hit the road for the first time in 27 days for their third matchup of the season against the Dubuque Fighting Saints (9-4-0) on Friday night at the Mystique Community Ice Center.
Puck drop is set for 7:35 p.m. and can be heard on 106.7 FM, 1670 AM, The Zone.
Madison has dropped its last two games after winning six of the previous seven. The Fighting Saints came out victorious over Madison for the second time this season a week ago, claiming a 4-3 win over the Capitols at the Alliant Energy Center. Madison got the first period lead on Sam McCormick's fifth goal of the season, but the Fighting Saints would march back to win the see-saw affair to pick up their conference-best ninth win.
Dubuque has been stabilized by the strong exploits of goaltender Hunter Miska, who has won each of his last six games and leads the USHL in wins with eight.
Beginning with the Capitols' tilt in Dubuque this evening, the Capitols' schedule picks up, with eight games in the next 16 nights. Madison enters play sitting sixth in a tightly contested Eastern Conference with 12 points, yet the team rests only six points back of first-place Dubuque.
Madison returns home on Saturday, Nov. 14 against the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders at 7:05 p.m. Fans can purchase a specialty Beer & Brats pack and receive one ticket, one beer, and one brat for just $14.
Tickets to all upcoming Capitols home games can be purchased by calling (608) 257-CAPS or by visiting www.MadCapsHockey.com.
