
Capital City Acquires 1st-Round Pick, Ferrell in Trade with Salt Lake City
January 16, 2022 - NBA G League (G League) - Capital City Go-Go News Release
WASHINGTON, DC - The Capital City Go-Go, the Washington Wizards' NBA G League affiliate, completed a trade with the Salt Lake City Stars today, acquiring a 2022 1st Round pick (from Maine) and the returning player rights to Yogi Ferrell in exchange for the returning player rights to Yoeli Childs. The trade is not subject to a physical.
Ferrell has played in five NBA seasons with Dallas, Brooklyn, Sacramento, LA Clippers and Cleveland, as well as two seasons in the NBA G League with Long Island and Salt Lake City. He is currently playing with KK Cedevita Olimpija in Slovenia.
The acquired pick gives the Go-Go its third selection in the first round of the 2022 NBA G League Draft.
