Canucks Assign McEneny to Kalamazoo Wings

Utica Comets Director of Hockey Operations Pat Conacher announced today that the Vancouver Canucks have reassigned defenseman Evan McEneny to the Kalamazoo Wings of the ECHL.

McEneny, 21, appeared in two games for the Comets this season. Last season he posted 45 points (9-36-45) and 71 penalty minutes in 68 games for the Kingston Frontenacs of the OHL.

The 6'2?, 215-pound defenseman played in 240 OHL games over his five-year career. He registered 129 points (24-105-129) and 209 penalty minutes. A native of Hamilton, ON, McEneny went undrafted but was signed by the Vancouver Canucks on Sept. 13, 2012.
