Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, PA - The St. John's IceCaps yielded three third-period goals in a 4-1 loss to the Penguins Friday night in Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, PA. The Penguins empty net goal sealed the win with 2:45 left in the final frame.
Daniel Carr notched the only goal for the IceCaps, and his fourth of the season. Rookie Michael McCarron picked up an assist, along with the league's top scorer Bud Holloway. Netminder Eddie Pasquale started his first AHL game since February 5, 2014 with the former IceCaps club. Pasquale blocked 26 of 29 shots in the loss.
