
Grayson Downing Assigned by Minnesota

DES MOINES, IA - Minnesota Wild General Manager Chuck Fletcher on Friday announced the National Hockey League (NHL) club has activated forward Grayson Downing from Injured Reserve Non-Roster and assigned him to the Iowa Wild of the American Hockey League (AHL).
Downing, 23 (4/18/92), suffered a lower-body injury at the 2015 NHL Prospects Tournament in Traverse City, Mich., in September. He recorded 36 points (21-15=36) including five power-play goals and four game-winning tallies in 38 games during his senior season at the University of New Hampshire in 2014-15. He led the Wildcats in goals and ranked second in scoring. His goal total ranked T-3rd in Hockey East and T-13thin the NCAA. The 6-foot, 200-pound native of Abbotsford, British Columbia, was signed by Minnesota to a two-year entry-level contract on March 24, 2015.
This weekend the Wild have a pair of games with the Lake Erie Monsters on Saturday, Nov. 7 and Sunday, Nov. 8. Saturday's game will be at 7:00 p.m. at Wells Fargo Arena. All ladies are invited to come celebrate "Ladies Night" with the Wild. Women (21 and above) receive a $1.00-discount off glasses of wine. After the game, those that purchase the Bring Your Buds Bundle receive one FREE Budweiser or Bud Light at Carl's Place.
Nov. 8th's game takes place at 3 p.m. at Wells Fargo Arena. Sunday features the Sunday combo pack courtesy of Subway and Star 102.5 FM. Fans receive one ticket, one hot dog, one soda, and one Subway coupon starting at $12. The Wild travels to Grand Rapids for a game on Wednesday, Nov. 11 at 6:00 p.m.
Fans may purchase single-game tickets multiple ways, either through the team's website - www.Iowawild.com , the Wells Fargo Arena box office or participating Hy-Vee food stores. Tickets are available online at www.Iowawild.com under the single game tickets tab. The Wells Fargo Arena box office is open Monday - Friday from 10:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m., Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. and closed on Sunday. For Saturday game days, the box office will open at 10 a.m. For Sunday game days the box office will open at 12 p.m. Fans may also purchase tickets by calling 1-844-55-HYVEE or by visiting participating Hy-Vee food stores locations in the greater Des Moines area. The Iowa Wild 2015-16 season is presented by Mercy Medical Center, it runs from October through April. Fans may purchase seats to see any of the team's 38 regular season home games at Wells Fargo Arena. Season tickets to see the Wild play its 2015-16 season at Wells Fargo Arena start at just $9 per game.
