Tulsa Oilers News Release

Goaltender Trevor Cann has been called up to the Lake Erie Monsters of the American Hockey League from the Tulsa Oilers of the Central Hockey League.

"We know this is a possible impact of our affiliation with the Colorado Avalanche and Lake Erie Monsters, and it's a great thing for our players and good for Trevor to have the chance to again be at a higher level," Oilers coach Brue Ramsay said.

Cann's call-up came after Colorado goaltender Craig Anderson suffered an injury Tuesday night, and the Avalanche then recalled goaltender John Grahame from lake Erie.

In three appearances the Oilers this year, Cann is 2-1-0 with a 3.75 goals against average and .880 save percentage.

The Oilers visit the Colorado Eagles Friday at 8:05 p.m Central time and visit Wichita Saturday at 7:05 p.m. Tulsa returns home for a quick rematch against Wichita Sunday at 4:05 p.m. at the BOK Center.

Season tickets for 2010-11 with plans for as low as $26 a month are now available by calling the Oilers office at 918-632-PUCK (7825).
