The Bloomington PrairieThunder, winners of their first three games of the season (3-0), continue their home stand at U.S. Cellular Coliseum this Friday and Saturday night against Turner Conference foes the Evansville IceMen and Dayton Gems. Game time is 7:05pm each evening. The PrairieThunder head into the weekend as the Central Hockey League's only undefeated team!

The Evansville IceMen, with a record of 2-2, begin the weekend tied for fourth place in the CHL's Turner (Northern) Conference. The IceMen's radio broadcaster, Terry Ficorelli, will be broadcasting his 3,286 consecutive broadcast on Friday night. A player to watch is 37 year old Jeff Nelson who is playing in his 18th professional season dating back to the 1992-93 season with the Baltimore Skipjacks of the American Hockey League. His career includes 52 games in the NHL; 43 with the Washington Capitals and 9 with the Nashville Predators.

The Gems come into Bloomington on Saturday night with a 3-1 record and are currently tied for second place in the CHL's Turner Conference. This will be Dayton's first road game of the season. A player to watch is former Quad City Mallard Chris Lipsett who leads the Gems in scoring with seven points (1 goal and 6 assists).
