Canes and Tabbies Friday Night

Lethbridge, AB - The Lethbridge Hurricanes will carry a 2-0 record into this weekend, as they take on the Medicine Hat Tigers on Friday night (September 26th @ 7:00 PM) at the ENMAX Centre. Last season, the Canes battled their Southern Alberta rivals to a 3-3-1-1 record with a 2-1-0-1 record at the ENMAX Centre. Friday's game will kick off the first home and home series of the season between these two clubs and will be the first of eight matchups between these clubs in 2008-2009. The Tabbies will look to once again be a contender in the tough Central Division after being bumped in the first round of the 2008 WHL playoffs by the Kootenay Ice. Fans are reminded to come out and give the Tigers a warm Lethbridge welcome! Also, it is McDonald's Night at the ENMAX Centre so be sure to be on the lookout for giveaways and contests all night. For a donation to Ronald McDonald House Canes fans will be able to walk away with all kinds of McDonald's prizes including mini sticks, pucks, toques and skate towels!

- Many happy returns - After an impressive showing at Dallas Stars training camp Colton Sceviour will be making his return to the ENMAX Centre in time for Friday's key divisional matchup. Sceviour had a strong showing with the Dallas Star prospects at the Traverse City Prospects tournament which earned him an invite to Stars main camp. While there he had the opportunity to scrimmage on a line with Dallas Stars Captain Brenden Morrow and Jere Lehtinen.
