Canadiens Assign Ryan White To Bulldogs

MONTREAL, QC - Montreal Canadiens General Manager Bob Gainey announced today that forward Ryan White has been assigned to the Hamilton Bulldogs from Montreal. White is scheduled to be available for tonight's game against Abbotsford at Copps Coliseum.

White, 21, was recalled to the Canadiens yesterday and has played in 13 games with Montreal earning two assists and 11 penalty minutes. The Brandon, Manitoba native has played in 12 games with the 'Dogs this year earning seven points (three goals, four assists) along with 29 penalty minutes. The 6-foot, 193-pound centre completed his first professional season last year with Hamilton playing in all 80 games and earning 29 points (11 goals, 18 assists) and 68 penalty minutes. White was drafted by the Canadiens in the 3rd round, 66th overall in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft.

The Bulldogs host the Abbotsford Heat tonight at 7:30 p.m. at Copps Coliseum. Fans can listen to every 'Dogs game on the flagship station of the Hamilton Bulldogs Hockey Network, TALK 820.
