Canadiens Assign Ryan White To Bulldogs

MONTREAL, QC - Montreal Canadiens General Manager Bob Gainey announced today that forward Ryan White has been assigned from Montreal to the Hamilton Bulldogs. White is scheduled to join the Bulldogs today for their game against the Toronto Marlies.
White, 21, played in 13 games with Montreal earning two assists and 11 penalty minutes after being recalled on November 4th. Before being recalled to the Canadiens, the Brandon, Manitoba native played in 11 games with the 'Dogs earning seven points (three goals, four assists) along with 22 penalty minutes. The 6-foot, 193-pound centre completed his first professional season last year with Hamilton playing in all 80 games and earning 29 points (11 goals, 18 assists) and 68 penalty minutes. White was drafted by the Canadiens in the 3rd round, 66th overall in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft.
The Bulldogs travel to Toronto to battle the Marlies today at 4:00 p.m. at Ricoh Coliseum.
