Tucson Padres News Release

Eric Campbell went 2-for-4 with four RBIs in the Las Vegas 51s 8-4 win over the Tucson Padres Wednesday at Kino Stadium.

After three scoreless innings to start the game, the 51s jumped ahead in the fourth with four runs on three walks and two hits, including Campbell's two-run double. Campbell recorded his second two-run hit of the night in the sixth, bringing home Ike Davis and Zach Lutz with a single past a drawn in infield. Campbell later came across to score on Brandon Hicks' RBI single to center.

Dean Anna's RBI single in the bottom of the sixth extended his hitting streak to seven games and brought home the first run for the Padres. Brandon Allen and Cody Decker followed with back-to-back home runs to cut the Las Vegas lead to 7-4. The consecutive home runs were the second for the Padres this season and the first since Jonathan Galvez and Anna accomplished the feat on April 21 in Fresno.
