June 20, 2013 - Pacific Coast League (PCL1)
Tucson Padres News Release
Eric Campbell went 2-for-4 with four RBIs in the Las Vegas 51s 8-4 win over the Tucson Padres Wednesday at Kino Stadium.
After three scoreless innings to start the game, the 51s jumped ahead in the fourth with four runs on three walks and two hits, including Campbell's two-run double. Campbell recorded his second two-run hit of the night in the sixth, bringing home Ike Davis and Zach Lutz with a single past a drawn in infield. Campbell later came across to score on Brandon Hicks' RBI single to center.
Dean Anna's RBI single in the bottom of the sixth extended his hitting streak to seven games and brought home the first run for the Padres. Brandon Allen and Cody Decker followed with back-to-back home runs to cut the Las Vegas lead to 7-4. The consecutive home runs were the second for the Padres this season and the first since Jonathan Galvez and Anna accomplished the feat on April 21 in Fresno. The 51s got one run back in the seventh thanks to Davis's RBI double off the left field fence. Las Vegas relievers Gonzalez German and Sean Henn combined for three scoreless innings to close out the victory for the 51s.
Matt Fox (6-0) earned the win after going six innings and allowing four runs on six hits. Tucson starter and former 51 Sean O'Sullivan (6-4) took the loss after surrendering four runs on four hits and three walks.
