Called Up: Dairon Reyes Called Up to Cuban National Team

Inter Miami CF II winger Dairon Reyes has been called up to the Cuban national team for its upcoming Concacaf Nations League matches. The team will play four League B group stage matches across the first two weeks of June.

Cuba will take on Guadeloupe on Thursday, June 2 at 8 p.m. ET at the ‚¬â€¹ ‚¬â€¹Stade René Serge Nabajoth in Les Abymes, Guadeloupe, then Barbados at the Estadio de Fútbol Antonio Maceo in Santiago de Cuba on Sunday, June 5 at 4 p.m. ET. Its second set of matches will see the team take on Antigua and Barbuda twice, first on Thursday, June 9 at 7 p.m. ET at Warner Park Football Stadium in Basseterre, St. Kitts and Nevis, and again on Sunday, June 12 at 4 p.m. ET at the Estadio de Fútbol Antonio Maceo.

Reyes, 18, is a product of the Inter Miami CF Academy that has made six appearances, two of them starts, for Inter Miami CF II in MLS NEXT Pro this season.

The young winger has made six appearances for the Cuban senior national team thus far, first making his senior debut in June 2021 in a FIFA World Cup Qualifier against the British Virgin Islands, coming off the bench to register a goal and an assist in just 26 minutes of play en route to a 5-0 victory.
